Severed Souls
KNOWN ISSUES:
- Way too much dialogue. This is a fundamental issue, not easy to fix, but it's a lesson I've learned from making this. Simple is mostly better.
- Exe file needs to rename the pck file to be "Severed Souls", meaning it needs a zip file, I'll work on making this easier to access Should be good? (The browser version should be fine to play anyways)
- Skipping through the text of a Lobster could leave you with a black screen (this was optional though) Should be fixed in the exe version?
Genre? Dialogue Heavy but not a visual novel, has some gameplay...
Length: About 30 - 40 minutes normally... an additional 10 to 20 if you try to see everything. Way longer if you try to voice act...

Dialogue System: Used Dialogic, very great tool for Godot
Controls should be intuitive, I allow for many different combos.
If the escape key won't work for pausing the "0" key will.
There's also lots of fun buttons like: You can press "6" to toggle pronouns.
You can hold "C" to SKIP TEXT but it's FAST and might BREAK so only do that on a repeat playthrough. (or don't. I'm not here to tell you how to play the game but this game is mostly dialogue soooooo)
Future: The whole game is not complete to how I want it, I WILL (likely) update it.
A: Because I want to write out that part that's not finished
B: That's the fun part and I haven't had enough time with it yet.
But the main game IS complete so you've got that :)
